Online Loan Entrance Counseling

Welcome to UMMC's Online Loan Entrance Counseling. We are happy to offer this session as a convenient method to satisfy federal requirements for loan counseling. Below you will find links to complete Entrance Counseling for Federal Direct Stafford.  

Entrance counseling for Institutional Loans, Federal Campus-Based Loans and Service Scholarships is done electronically via our servicer partner Heartland ECSI.  You will be emailed a link for completion of this counseling upon being awarded.

You need only complete this counseling once during each academic degree program.

Note: We will not generate loan disbursements for any of these loan programs until the Entrance Counseling requirement has been satisfied.

Personal counseling and written materials on debt management and other financial planning concerns are available upon request by emailing the Office of Student Financial Services or calling (601) 984-1117.

Good luck as you begin your debt management program. Remember that these are loans that must be repaid. We strongly encourage you to borrow only what you truly need!
